Thomas Ostermann (born August 25, 1966 in Herzebrock ) is a German soccer coach and former player .

Career

Thomas Ostermann played in his youth for Herzebrocker SV , FC Gütersloh and Arminia Bielefeld . From 1985 to 1988, Thomas Ostermann was a professional at Arminia Bielefeld, where he played 73 games in the 2nd Bundesliga , in which he scored three goals for Bielefeld. From 1988 to 1990 there were games in the then third-class Oberliga Westfalen for Bielefeld before Ostermann then played for ten years for SC Verl in the Oberliga, from 1994 in the newly established third-class regional league . In 2000 he returned to his hometown club. In 1984 he won the U-16 European Football Championship with the German team .

After his active career, Ostermann became a coach and took over the district division black and white Marienfeld . From 2012 to 2015 he was a youth coach at Arminia Bielefeld and was also a coach at the DFB base in Gütersloh . In the summer of 2015, he took over Herzebrocker SV , whose team plays in the district B league.
