Thomas Philipp (sociologist)

Thomas Philipp (* 1975 in Linz ) is an Austrian social scientist and artist living in Linz .

Life

Philipp studied social economy and sociology at the Johannes Kepler University Linz . He is co-founder and head of the research institute LIquA - Linz Institute for Qualitative Analyzes , lecturer at the Institute for Society and Social Policy at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and at the Institute for Media at the Art University Linz, as well as the author of numerous scientific publications in the context of social and cultural studies. In the cultural field he is a founding member of the Linz artist group qujOchÖ , as a specialist advisory board for the Museum Arbeitswelt Steyr or as a member of the Upper Austrian provincial cultural advisory board .
