Thomas Rosié

Thomas Rosié (born July 11, 1942 in Berlin ) is a German cameraman and author .

Life

Thomas Rosié was born in Berlin as the son of the graphic artist Paul Rosié . He grew up there with his sister Angela Rosié.

After graduating from high school, Thomas Rosié went to the Babelsberg Film School (today the Potsdam Film and Television University “Konrad Wolf”) and graduated from there.

Since then he has been a freelance cameraman in film and television a. a. for the DEFA studio for feature films in the GDR .

In 1968 he founded Moser + Rosié Film together with Hans Moser - with his participation over 4500 projects have been created to date. He is also a screenwriter for various animated, advertising and image films (including the animated series Donky by Alpha 6 * 4 in 1995).

He lives in Berlin with his wife Bettina Rosié and has two daughters and a son.
