Thomas Rottenberg (born February 25, 1969 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist, author and presenter.

Life

Rottenberg gained his first experience in the media industry as a radio reporter and presenter, among other things for the ORF programs Die Musicbox , ZickZack and Diagonal . At the beginning of the 1990s he expanded his activities to include print media and wrote for profil and the weekly Falter , where he was in charge of the city ​​life department.

Since 2000 Rottenberg has been working as an editor for the daily newspaper Der Standard , where he wrote the column Stadtgeschichten for the website derStandard.at until 2009 , of which a book collection entitled Wiener Stadtgeschichten was published in 2004 . His current column Paparotti has been published on derStandard.at since 2010.

Rottenberg, who already moderated the television station TIV in the late 1990s , worked for Puls 4 from 2006 to 2008 , where he moderated the discussion program Talk of Town . Since 2009 he has been working as a presenter for the literaTOUR literary magazine on Servus TV . Apart from his activities for television, he also moderates various events and discussions.
