Thomas Schönberger (born October 14, 1986 ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a defender .

Career

Schönberger began his career at USV St. Marein in Styria . Later he came to the Grazer AK , where he played in the youth and with the amateurs, but Schönberger could not prevail up to the Bundesliga team. In January 2017 he moved to Kapfenberger SV . After promotion to the Bundesliga in 2008, he made his debut in Austria's top division on July 9, 2008. In 2012 he went back to the second division with the Styrians.

In seven and a half years at KSV, he made 65 national and 90 second division appearances. For the 2014/15 season he moved to league rivals TSV Hartberg . With Hartberg he was relegated to the regional league at the end of the season . After 26 second and 22 regional league appearances for Oststeirer, Schönberger joined league competitor USV Allerheiligen for the 2016/17 season . In two years in Allerheiligen he completed 49 regional league games.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to league competitor FC Gleisdorf 09 .
