Thomas Schenk (writer)
Thomas Schenk (born September 14, 1966 in Liestal ) is a Swiss journalist and writer .
life and work
Thomas Schenk grew up in Muttenz , studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen and has lived in Zurich ever since . He worked as a business editor for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and as a tram driver in Zurich from 2003 to 2008. He is currently a freelance journalist, copywriter and writer.
In 2002 Schenk received the media award from the Swiss Bar Association. For 20 minutes he wrote columns about his everyday life as a tram driver; Limmat Verlag published a selection as a book in 2007. In 2010 the short novel Im Schneeregen was published by weissbooks.w .
