Thomas Schrimm (born March 31, 1961 in Karlsruhe , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German actor .

Life

Thomas Schrimm completed his training from 1986 to 1988 at the Baden Drama School in Karlsruhe and from 1988 to 1990 at the Rheinische Tanz- und Theaterschule Düsseldorf .

In 1990 he first made a guest appearance at the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf and Theater Basel , then in 1991 he switched to permanent engagement at the Staatstheater Kassel . In 1992 he was a guest at the Schauspiel Bonn in productions by Valentin Jeker. From 1992 to 1997 he took a "baby break", returned to Karlsruhe and played at the theater "Die Insel" in Karlsruhe. From 1998 to 2001 he was engaged at the Schillertheater NRW Wuppertal and worked there with the directors Paolo Magelli , FP Steckel, Volker Lösch and Markus Dietz. From 2001 to 2011 he was engaged at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe , where he played in productions by Michael Simon , Johannes Lepper , Thomas Krupa, Donald Berkenhoff and Jens-Daniel Herzog . From 2012 to 2016 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt .

In 2016/2017 he produced the recital “On behalf of the Lord” with his pianist Johannes Mittl.

Since 2017 he has been working as a freelance voice actor and as an actor on the stage of the Munich Metropolitan Theater, but can also be seen in other productions.
