The Thompson-Nunatakker are three roughly equal Nunatakker in the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . In the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains they loom 6 km south of Navigator Peak above the central part of the White Escarpment .

The United States Geological Survey mapped them using the United States Navy's own surveys and aerial photographs from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1966 after Russell William Thompson, meteorologist for the United States Antarctic Research Program on the Wilkes Station in 1963.
