The Thompson Branch is a river in Boone County in the middle of the US state of Missouri . It rises about 3.5 kilometers south-east of Sturgeon and then flows in a south-westerly direction, where it joins the Silver Fork two kilometers east of US Route 63 . The river length is 24.1 kilometers.
