Thorsten Link (* 24. August 1964 in Hagen ) is a German television presenter , television editor and filmmaker.

Link began his journalistic career as a radio journalist, then switched to television as an editor and, as the successor to Wolf-Dieter Ebersbach, took over the moderation of the shows Das Rasthaus - Das Automagazin on SWR TV in 2005 and, until May 2012, the ARD guide: Auto und Verkehr . Since 2009 he has moderated the series ready to go - Das Automagazin , SWR, the follow-up program to Das Rasthaus.

For several years Link has been a guest on radio and live television broadcasts on Südwestrundfunk and ARD as a car and traffic expert .

Link studied musicology and German studies in Munich and Freiburg im Breisgau and lives in Ottersweier near Baden-Baden . Link is married, has two children and is a passionate motorcycle and mountain bike rider.
