Wolf-Dieter Ebersbach

Wolf-Dieter Ebersbach (* 25. August 1940 in Gera ) is a German television journalist and - moderator .

Ebersbach worked from 1964 for the Schwäbische Zeitung in Leutkirch . In 1968 he started working as a business editor at Südwestfunk in Baden-Baden . He became known for his moderation of the programs plusminus , Infomarkt , ARD-Ratgeber Auto und Verkehr and, above all, of Das Rasthaus , which he moderated for 19 years from 1986 until his retirement in 2005. In 1986 he was immediately awarded the silver pickle for the new section Woman and Car in this program .

For his journalistic work and especially his commitment to road safety, Ebersbach also received prizes that were meant to be positive. Four times the Christophorus Prize of the General Association of the German Insurance Industry , the German Road Safety Prize in Gold from the Deutsche Verkehrswacht , the Honorary Prize of the Björn Steiger Foundation , and the Ernst Schneider Prize for his documentation after the store closes .

Ebersbach lives in Rastatt , is the press spokesman for the airport Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden at Baden-Airpark and is also a private pilot and flight instructor.
