Thorsten Neubert-Preine (* 1965 in Walsrode ) is a German historian .

Life

Neubert-Preine completed his school days in Bomlitz and Walsrode . From 1982 to 1985 he attended the nursing school at the district hospital in Walsrode and completed his training with the nursing exam. In 1990 he passed the Abitur at the evening high school in Walsrode. From 1991 to 1997 he studied history, political science and theology at the University of Osnabrück and the University of Vechta (master's degree and teaching degree). After graduating, he worked and researched in Jerusalem until 1999 . Since then he has worked as a freelance historian for various institutions and organizations.

Neubert-Preine has been chairman of the Bomlitz Foundation History House since it was founded in 2003

Neubert-Preine has been the director of the Walsrode City Archives since 2011 . He is the successor to Gunther Gerhardt , who retired in spring 2011.
