Throphu Tshälthrim Sherab ( Tib .: khro phu tshul khrims shes rab ; * 1173 ; † 1225 ) was a famous translator of the Throphu Kagyu tradition ( khro phu bka 'brgyud ), one of the eight small schools of the Kagyu school tradition of Tibetan Buddhism .

He was a student of Kache Panchen (Śākyaśrībhadra).

His place of activity was the Throphu Monastery , the founding monastery of this school type, in the area of Tsang ( Sa'gya County , Xigazê ).
