The Chaos Cop - Thunder Road is an American tragic comedy released in 2018 . Lead actor Jim Cummings wrote and directed the script. In 2018 the film won the "Grand Jury Award" at the SXSW Film Festival . The film is based on the short film of the same name, released in 2016, which won the 2016 Sundance Film Festival jury's grand prize in the short film category . Production was started by a Kickstarter campaign.
