Tiberiu Bone (born April 13, 1929 in Oradea , † March 22, 1983 ) was a Romanian football player and coach . He denied 269 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A .

Career as a player

Tiberiu Bone's career began in the 1946/47 season with Jiul Petroșani , when he came to Divizia A for his first assignment on October 20, 1946 at the age of 17 . At Jiul he developed into a regular player, so that shortly before the end of the 1950 season there was the opportunity to move to the Romanian top club CCA Bucharest (later Steaua Bucharest). With CCA he was able to win the Romanian championship six times and the Romanian cup four times . At the end of the 1961/62 season , he hung up his football boots.

National team

Between 1951 and 1961, Bone played twelve games for the Romanian national football team , but did not score a goal. He had his first mission on May 20, 1951 against Czechoslovakia .

Career as a coach

From 1962 to 1964, Bone was a youth coach at Steaua Bucharest . He then coached AS Armata Târgu Mureș for many years with a few interruptions .
