TIG Productions, Inc. is a US film production company headquartered in Burbank , California .
Company history
The film company was founded in 1990 by Kevin Costner and his brother Dan in order to be able to produce Costner's film " Dances With Wolves " independently of the major Hollywood film studios. The company was named after Costner's grandmother.
Since the successful production of “Dances with Wolf”, the company has been producing predominantly, but by no means exclusively, films with Kevin Costner as the main actor and / or director.
