The Tight Fitting Pants are a French punkabilly and psychobilly band from Cholet founded in 2002 .
history
In 2003 the Tight Fitting Pants played their demo Sex, Booze & Rock 'n' Roll , which already marks the future style of the music group. Fast psychobilly with punk influences, as well as melodic, without exception English vocals. The group itself describes their music, which is mainly about women, sex and pornography, as "Porn 'n' Roll". The demo offered only four songs, but all 1,000 copies could be sold in-house.
In 2006 they released their debut album Obscene Music for Obscene People on the German label Crazy Love Records, which is distributed by Cargo Records . Robert Noy praises this in the Ox-Fanzine as a "great debut". More than 150 concerts in Europe, as well as sampler contributions (for example on Welcome To Circus Punkabilly Vol. 2 ) further increase the popularity of the band. The following two albums also received favorable reviews. In 2010 the Ox-Fanzine praised the sound of The Final Condom !!!! as "clear and raw, fast and melodic". Disreputable texts would "fit perfectly".
The band has been idle since 2011, since singer Simon Orbison has also been active in the group The Konbinis since then . This, a pop-punk band, is completely different musically and thematically.
