Till Schmerbeck

Till Schmerbeck (* 1969 in Munich ) is a German film producer .

Live and act

Till Schmerbeck studied production at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy from 2000 to 2004 . The feature film he produced The request was the first German post that again years later the grand prize of film festivals , namely the 2002 Golden Leopard at the International Film Festival of Locarno was able to win.

In 2005, the children's film he produced, Heroes in Wellington Boots, won the Erich Kästner TV Prize as part of the Babelsberg Media Awards .

Till Schmerbeck has had his own production company, Schmerbeck Filmproduktion in Berlin , since 2004 and is a member of the German Film Academy.

In 2010/2011 he worked as a producer for U5 film production in Frankfurt. The international documentary "Harmony" with Prince Charles was created there. From 2013 to 2016 he also worked for director / author Stephan Wagner and his "carte blanche film" in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Since 2017 Schmerbeck has been producing again under its own name.
