Tilly Boesche-Zacharow

Tilly Boesche-Zacharow (born January 31, 1928 in Elbing as Mathilde Großkopf ) is a German writer and author who is also involved in humanitarian issues. She is also known by the pseudonyms Eva Trojan , Eve Jean , Eve John and Ilka Korff .

Life

Boesche-Zacharow was born in 1928 as the daughter of Ernst Großkopf and Maria Großkopf. She was married to Hans Boesche from 1950 until the divorce in 1963 . There were two sons from this marriage, including the pacifist and historian Norbert Boesche . She also adopted her granddaughter in addition to a biological daughter. She currently lives temporarily in Berlin and Haifa. She was a member of the Association of German-Speaking Writers in Israel (VDSI) from 1980 until it was dissolved in 2005. On March 23, 2016, Tilly Boesche-Zacharow received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany from State Secretary Tim Renner.

Publishing

Since 1950 Tilly Boesche-Zacharow has worked as a freelance writer, mainly in entertainment literature. From 1980 she is a publisher and u. a. Editor of the literary magazine Silhouette International Literature (26 vols., 1980–1989) and the successor sheet Silhouette (5 vols., 1994–1996) and the series Literatur zum Angewhnen (82 vols., 1983–2000). She also worked on various magazines , anthologies and radio programs. She also gave readings and interviews in Germany, Israel , Thailand and Canada .

Works

Boesche-Zacharow wrote the text for the song Ich hang an Frohnau , set to music by Johannes Richter , Berlin . In addition to entertainment literature, she also published children's literature, non-fiction, erotic stories, German and English-language poetry and several press articles, some of which were published by M. & N. Boesche Verlag (Berlin, Haifa), which she co-founded .

Honors

She received an honorary doctorate from the University of Arizona in 1983 and an honorary Doctor of Letters in 1987. She also received several honorary diplomas , the European Banner of Arts 1984 and the Studiosis Humanitas 1985. On March 23, 2016, the State Secretary for Cultural Affairs of the State of Berlin, Tim Renner, presented Tilly Boesche-Zacharow for "... her outstanding publishing program and her many years of work for the exiled Jewish authors in Israel "the Cross of Merit on the ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
