Tim Berresheim (* 1975 in Heinsberg ) is a contemporary German artist of the visual arts and music.

Life

Tim Berresheim studied from 1998 to 2000 at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig (with Johannes Brus ) and then from 2000 to 2002 at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (with Albert Oehlen ). Tim Berresheim lives in Aachen .

Tim Berresheim is a visual artist who has been producing blackboard paintings with the help of computers since 2002. The images, which are realized as photographs, screen prints or computer prints, depict scenes that take place in three-dimensional, illusionistic space. In the course of working with CGI and DGI, plausible works emerge - this applies to both the figurative and the abstract works. H. stage-like imagery subject to physical laws. Since the second half of the 2000s, the aspect of multidimensionality has also been of relevance for Berresheim. By means of optical distortions within the complex representations - with regard to the wealth of details, spatial arrangement and lighting - the legibility of the image is subject to permanent changes and the idea of ​​a final central perspective view is made available.
