Tim Biskup

Tim Biskup (* 1967 in Los Angeles ) is an American artist of fine arts and publisher .

Since the mid-eighties he has continuously published limited editions of art prints, items of clothing, designer toys , books and more. He has worked with artists such as Mark Ryden and Gary Baseman and has organized art auctions and exhibitions. His popular drawings and sculptures are exhibited worldwide, including in Los Angeles , New York , San Francisco , Tokyo , Kyoto and Melbourne .

In September 2004, Biskup opened his own gallery called "Bispop" in downtown Pasadena . The artist lives and works in California.

His style is inspired by modern design from the mid-20th century mixed with a dose of punk rock . Well-known designer toys from Biskup are the helper or the totem pals . He has also worked on various designer toy series such as B. Dunny or Qee involved.
