Tim Brümmendorf

Tim Henrik Brümmendorf (* 1966 in Stuttgart ) is a German oncologist and hematologist at the University Hospital Aachen , author and professor at RWTH Aachen University . Brümmendorf is Director of the Clinic for Hematology and Oncology (Medical Clinic IV) at the Clinic.

He studied medicine in Heidelberg and Hamburg . He began his clinical training at the University Hospital of Tübingen . He then went to Vancouver , Canada , for two years as a fellow of the German Research Foundation . In 2004 the habilitation followed in Tübingen . A year later he moved to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf . There he set up the University Cancer Center Hamburg (UCCH) . This is an oncological center. It was recognized as a top center by the German Cancer Aid .

Brümmendorf has been working at the Aachen University Hospital since 2009 . There he set up the Euregional comprehensive Cancer Center Aachen (ECCA) and continues to research cancer.

Brümmendorf is married and has three children.
