Tim Drygala
Tim Drygala (* 1963 in Lübeck ) is a German lawyer and professor at the University of Leipzig .
Life
Drygala began studying law in Gießen in 1982 and passed the First State Examination in 1987. In 1990 he received his doctorate from the University of Giessen with a thesis on the protection of creditors in typical business breakdowns . After legal clerkship in Frankfurt am Main and the second state examination in law, Drygala worked as a research assistant at Marcus Lutter in Bonn . Drygala completed his habilitation in 1999 with a thesis on the content control of security conditions.
In April 2002 he was offered a professorship at the University of Leipzig. Since the winter semester 2002/03 he has held the chair for civil law, commercial, corporate and economic law.
He became known beyond specialist circles when he “ dissected ” a rap from Professor Klaus Peter Berger on § 823 BGB .
