Tim Goydke

Tim Thomas Goydke (* 1971 in Braunschweig ) is a German economist and Japanologist .

Life

After graduating from high school, Goydke studied economics with a focus on East Asian economics / Japan and Korea at the Gerhard Mercator University in Duisburg as well as the Dokkyō University and Cardiff University . From 1998 to 2001 he initially worked as a research assistant at the Chair of East Asian Economics / Economic Policy and in 2001 moved to Waseda University in Tokyo , Japan, and to Seoul State University in Seoul , South Korea . From 2002 to 2005 he was regional manager for Japan and Korea at the "Ostasiatischer Verein eV - German Asia-Pacific Business Association" in Hamburg. 2003 Goydke was with the work "Industrial Policy in East Asia: The Challenge of Globalization" to Dr. rer. oec. PhD .

2005 Goydke received a call to the University of Bremen as a professor for the economy and society of Japan in the field of economics. He is an Asian Economics speaker and author of articles and essays.

He has been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. since 1992. Elbmark (Tetschen-Liebwerd) to Duisburg in the Cartellverband (CV) as well as the AV Edo-Rhenania to Tokyo and the KTV Visurgis Bremen in the CV.
