Tim Huebschle , also Tim Huebschle (born May 24, 1978 in Reutlingen ), is a Namibian screenwriter , director and film producer .

Hübschle was born in Germany, grew up in Namibia and went to school in Windhoek . He then studied German and English literature at the University of Cape Town in South Africa . His parents are the politician Michaela Hübschle and the veterinarian Otto Hübschle .

Career

During his studies, Hübschle discovered his passion for films . He started developing and producing short films in Berlin in 2000 . In 2003 he returned to Namibia and received a budget for the 13-part documentary Savanna Stories , which was broadcast on the television program of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation . From 2005, Hübschle worked as a director for numerous short films, documentaries, music videos and commercials .

In 2013/14 he was the director of eleven episodes of the ARD series Das Waisenhaus für Wilde Tiere . From 2015 to 2019 he worked on his first feature film called #LANDoftheBRAVEfilm .

Hübschle received numerous national and international awards.
