Tim Unterluggauer

Tim Unterluggauer (born January 31,  1993 in Düsseldorf ) is a former German basketball player . The 2.09 meter long inside player was a German national youth player and played for the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA  .

career

Unterluggauer played in Bayer Leverkusen's youth department . In 2009 he took part with the German U16 national team at the European Championship in Kaunas  , Lithuania , in spring 2010 he played for Germany at the Albert Schweitzer Tournament  and also represented his country at the U17 World Championship in Hamburg in summer 2010 .

For the 2010/11 season he moved to the sports high school in Jena and from then on played for TuS Jena (youth and men in the 2nd regional league) and, thanks to a "double license", also for the Oettinger Rockets Gotha in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . In the summer of 2011 he was part of the German squad for the U18 European Championship in Poland.

In 2012 Unterluggauer left Thuringia and joined the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate , for which he played in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA . Due to intervertebral disc problems, he was no longer used there from spring 2013. Due to injury, he was suspended in the 2013/14 season and returned to Thuringia in the summer of 2014 to play for the second division Science City Jena . In the end, however, it did not come to that: For health reasons, Unterluggauer had to withdraw from competitive sports in preparation for the 2014/15 season. From then on he devoted himself to studying industrial engineering.
