Tim Vollmer
Tim Vollmer (actually Timothy William Vollmer; born September 13, 1946 in Portland , Oregon ) is a former American discus thrower .
At the Pacific Conference Games in 1969 and at the Pan American Games in Cali in 1971 , he won silver each.
In 1972 he was eighth at the Olympic Games in Munich .
In 1971 he became US champion. He set his personal best of 67.38 m on May 16, 1971 in Lancaster .
