Time of My Life is the fifth music album by the American rock band 3 Doors Down . It was released on July 19, 2011 and is the successor to the 3 Doors Down released in 2008 . The two singles When You're Young and Every Time You Go were released .
background
In order to complete the album faster, the basic framework was worked out online so that it only needed to be recorded in the studio. The album was recorded between July and October 2010 in Los Angeles and Tokyo . The producer was Howard Benson, who became famous a. a. by rock artists like Kelly Clarkson , Motörhead and Daughtry . On January 10, 2011, about six months before the album was released, the first single When You're Young was released. On May 23, 2011, the second single, Every Time You Go, was released.

Most of the reviews were negative. Andreas Dittmann from laut.de is not satisfied with the album and criticizes a lack of further development. “ For eleven years, the five gentlemen haven't come up with anything great. It's all nice, well-produced and by no means a total failure, because in principle the men did everything right again. They deliver what one expects as a 3DD fan; but not anymore. "Matthias Reichel from cdstarts.de goes in the same direction :" The band has existed for 16 years now and it would be nice if they could really surprise their listeners with "Time Of My Life" again. Instead, it's like time has stopped. And so it happens that the song material on “Time Of My Life” sounds so familiar that you might think that it is related to one of the previous albums from the forge of 3 Doors Down. “Overall, he awards 3 out of 10 possible points. Allmusic.com awarded 2.5 stars out of 5.
