Timo Großpietsch

Timo Großpietsch (born September 12, 1977 in Hamburg ) is a German journalist and documentary filmmaker .

Life

Timo Großpietsch studied media studies and folklore at the University of Hamburg and photography and documentary film at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg . Then he volunteered at NDR . He worked as an author for the media magazine ZAPP before moving to the NDR's documentation and reporting department as a documentary filmmaker and video journalist .

He has received various prizes and awards for his cinematic work.

In addition to his work as a documentary filmmaker, he teaches documentary film at universities and also works as a trainer for film, television and video journalism.
