Timo Kivelä is a former Finnish ski jumper .

Career

Kivelä started his first and only international competition in the Four Hills Tournament 1959/60 . Already at the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf he achieved a good place with 11th place. At the New Year's competition on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he jumped on the podium for the first and only time as second behind Max Bolkart . After he achieved another very good result with sixth place on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck , he finished the tour with tenth place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen . In the overall ranking of the tour, he was the first jumper not from Germany or Austria to come in sixth.
