Timo Rüggeberg

Timo Rüggeberg (born July 25, 1989 in Bonn ; † July 3, 2011 ) was a German actor .

Life

Timo Rüggeberg became famous for the film Escalator Down , a film project made by schoolchildren in which he played the leading role of Jochen in 2005. On television he was seen in All Friendship and Bloch - Forgive, Not Forgotten, among others.

He has also been a member of the youth ensemble of the Young Theater Bonn (JTB) since he was 15 . Here he played leading roles in The Thief Lord and Tom and Huck . After a year in the United States, during which he spent ten months in high school for acting, he returned to the JTB in 2006 - Farid in Inkheart and Jamie in Beautiful Thing in 2008 .

At the municipal theater in Bonn he took on a part in Kabale.Schiller.Liebe .

In 2008 Rüggeberg graduated from high school. He then completed a “ Voluntary Social Year Culture ” at the JTB . During this time he wrote several plays with JTB director Moritz Seibert, which were premiered at the JTB. This FSJ was followed by a year abroad in Australia. In autumn 2010, Rüggeberg began studying communication and theater studies in Berlin.

He died 3 weeks before his 22nd birthday. Timo Rüggeberg was buried on July 29, 2011 in the Friedwald Rothenbacher Hof in Lohmar .
