Timo Juhani Seppälä (born June 27, 1968 in Kauhajoki ) is a former Finnish biathlete .

Timo Seppälä has competed in international biathlon races since the late 1980s. The 1990 World Championships were his first international championship . At the World Championships, which had to be held in three locations due to adverse weather conditions, the Finn finished 50th in the sprint, with Vesa Hietalahti , Harri Eloranta and Antero Lähde 12th with the team and sixth in the relay race. In 1991 Seppälä was 30th in the individual and 53rd in the sprint in Lahti . He achieved his best international result when he finished fifth on the side of Erkki Latvala , Harri Eloranta and Vesa Hietalahti in the relay race of the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer . He was also 41st of the individual. After the games, he ended his career. His son Tero Seppälä is also a biathlete.
