features

The head and back of the little bird are gray, the bill and tips of the wings are black, and the belly and chest are white.

Occurrence

The Timorgerygone occurs on the islands of Timor , Wetar , Atauro , Sawu , Roti and Semau . This means that it is only absent from the Timor and Wetar Endemic Bird Area on smaller islands such as Liran and Jaco . Despite its limited distribution, the Timor Gerygons are not considered endangered. The size of the total population is not known, but it may be declining due to the shrinking habitat.

On Atauro it occurs in all habitats of the island, both in the mountain forests, which go up to almost 1000  m there , and in the grasslands, while on Timor it is found in the plains, tropical dry forests and bushland.
