Timur Karagülmez (born September 7, 1989 ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

Karagülmez played at the beginning of his career at SC Hassel and moved to VfB Hüls in 2008 , where he became a regular. In 2012 he moved to FC Kray and was able to prove his talent here too. The Turkish professional club and then fourth division Altınordu Izmir offered him a professional contract, which he also signed. With Altınordu he was promoted from fourth to third division , he himself made six appearances. After the promotion, Karagülmez moved because the coach had told him that he would no longer plan with him to go back to FC Kray. He was also disappointed in Altınordu Izmir because promised salaries had not been paid. For this reason, he said at the time, he would no longer accept an offer from a Turkish club unless the offer came from a first division club .

Back at FC Kray, Karagülmez continued his good performance in the 2013/14 season , a pack of four in a 4-3 win against VfB 03 Hilden deserves special mention . He scored a total of 25 goals for FC Kray after his return and was promoted to the regional league with him.

Despite his statement that he would only move to Turkey if there was an offer from a first division club, he moved to Gölbaşıspor in 2014 , where he scored his first goals as a professional. In 2015 he finally switched to Manisaspor . With this club he finished the TFF 2nd Lig as a champion and rose to the TFF 1st Lig . Karagülmez was involved in this success with six ligators. Despite this successful debut at Manisaspor, Karagülmez was initially unable to agree to a continuation of the contract with the club's management. So he left the club in mid-June 2016. Two months later, both sides sat down again and this time agreed on an extension for two more years. After the 2017/18 season , they were relegated from the second division again. In the following winter break of the 2018/19 season , Karagülmez left Manisaspor; he joined the league rivals Bandırmaspor . The attacker returned to Germany in summer 2019. For the 2019/20 season , he signed a contract with the first division club 1. FC Bocholt .
