Florian Ruck (born February 6, 1992 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a former German soccer player . The central defender was most recently under contract with SC Paderborn 07 .

Career

Ruck began his career at TSV Markelsheim and later played for FSV Hollenbach . In 2008 he switched to the youth team at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . From the 2010/11 season , he came for the second team of Hoffenheim is used, the first in the Regional South and from 2012/13 in the newly established Regional Southwest played. In the 2014/15 season he led the team as captain on the field.

For the 2015/16 season , Ruck moved to the then second division club SC Paderborn 07 . At the end of the season he was relegated to the 3rd division with Paderborn , but extended his contract until 2018. After the 2016/17 season , Ruck terminated his contract in Paderborn and ended his career in order to begin training as a physiotherapist in Bad Mergentheim .
