Titular diocese of Árd Carna
Árd Carna (today Irish Ard Carna , English Ardcarne or Ardcarn ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a bishopric in the west of Ireland, in the village of Ardcarn in County Roscommon , which became what is now the diocese of Elphin . The only known bishop of the old diocese is Saint Beaidh , who died in 523 and is mentioned in the annals of the four masters .
