Titular diocese of Barbalissus
Barbalissus ( Italian : Barbalisso ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishopric in the ancient city of Emar , which was in the Roman province of Syria Coele or in late antiquity Syria Euphratensis . The bishopric was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Hierapolis Bambyke .
