Titular diocese of Dadima
The diocese of Dadima ( Italian diocesi di Dadima , Latin Dioecesis Dadimensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an ancient diocese based in Dadima (today Tadım, Elazığ Province , Turkey ) in Southeast Anatolia , in northern Mesopotamia . It belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Amida .
Amida (now Diyarbakır ) was the capital of the Aramaeans of Bit Zamani (2nd millennium BC).
