Titular diocese of Helos

Helos ( Latin : Helensis , Italian : Elo ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a submerged ancient bishopric on the Peloponnese , which was subordinate to the Metropolitan Corinth. The titular seat, which is located in the area of ​​the Greek Orthodox Church , has not been awarded since the middle of the 20th century . Instead, the titular seat Elo in Spain, which is named in Italian for the first time, was awarded in 1969 .
