Titular diocese of Hierapolis in Syria dei Siri
The Archdiocese of Hierapolis in Syria dei Siri ( Italian : Arcidiocesi di Gerapoli di Siria dei Siri , Latin Archidioecesis Hierapolitana in Syria Syrorum ) is a titular archbishopric that is awarded by the Pope to titular archbishops from the Syrian Catholic Church united with Rome .
It goes back to a lost bishop's seat in the ancient city of Hierapolis Bambyke , which was in the Roman province of Syria Coele or in late antiquity Syria Euphratensis .
