Titular diocese of Icosium
Icosium was a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishopric in the ancient city of Icosium (today: Algiers), which was in the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis in what is now northern Algeria .
On August 10, 1838, it was restored as the diocese of Algiers and thus lost its status as a titular diocese
