Titular diocese of Lamia
Lamia is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishopric in the ancient city of Lamia in Thessaly in what is now Greece , which was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Larisa . Latin bishops ( Cithoniensis ) are documented at the beginning of the 13th century and in the 14th century.
