The Roman Catholic Diocese of Porto ( Latin Dioecesis Portugallensis , Portuguese Diocese do Porto ) is in Portugal situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Porto .
history
The diocese of Porto was established in the 4th century. On August 24, 1938, the Diocese of Porto gave up parts of its territory to establish the Diocese of Aveiro . The diocese of Porto is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Braga as a suffragan .
The church newspaper for Portugal, Voz Portucalense, is published in Porto .
