The Roman Catholic Diocese of Setúbal ( Latin Dioecesis Setubalensis , Portuguese Diocese de Setúbal ) is one in Portugal situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Setúbal .

history

The diocese of Setúbal was on July 16, 1975 by Pope Paul VI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Studentes Nos from cessions of territory of the Patriarchate of Lisbon and subordinated to this as a suffragan .
