Pio Gonçalo Alves de Sousa (born April 20, 1945 in Lanheses , Portugal ) is a Portuguese Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Porto .
Life
Pio Gonçalo Alves de Sousa received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Braga on August 15, 1968 .
On February 18, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Aquae Flaviae and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Porto. The Archbishop of Braga, Jorge Ferreira da Costa Ortiga , gave him episcopal ordination on April 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Porto, Manuel José Macário do Nascimento Clemente , and the Bishop of Viana do Castelo , Anacleto Cordeiro Gonçalves de Oliveira .
