The Diocese of Iba ( lat. : Dioecesis Ibana ) is the Philippines located Roman Catholic diocese based in Iba .

history

The diocese of Iba was on June 12, 1955 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Venisse Christum from cessions of territory from the dioceses of San Fernando and Lingayen-Dagupan as the territorial prelature of Iba . The Territorial Prelature Iba was subordinated to the Archdiocese of San Fernando as a suffragan . On November 15, 1982, the territorial prelature Iba was raised to the diocese by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Cum Decessores .

The diocese of Iba includes the province of Zambales .
