Titular diocese of Neapolis in Proconsulari
Neapolis in Proconsulari ( Italian : Neapoli di Proconsolare ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
The city, located in North Africa , was an old Roman bishopric that went down in the 7th century with the Islamic expansion . It was located in the Roman province of Africa proconsularis and, as a suffragan diocese, was subordinate to the Metropolitan of Carthage .
