Titular diocese of Phoenice
Phoenice ( Italian : Fenice ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the Greek town of Phoinike in Epirus . The bishop of Phoenice was subordinate to the metropolitan of the ecclesiastical province of Nicopolis as suffragan bishop.
