Giovanni Peragine
Giovanni Peragine CRSP (born June 25, 1965 in Altamura , Italy ) is Apostolic Administrator of Southern Albania .
Life
Giovanni Peragine joined the Barnabite Order on September 15, 1983 and made temporary profession on September 23, 1984 . Peragine made his perpetual profession on November 17, 1991. He received on 10 March 1993, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 15 June 2017 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Phoenice and Apostolic Administrator of Southern Albania. On September 7th of the same year he was ordained bishop by George Anthony Frendo , Archbishop of Tirana-Durrës . Co-consecrators were Charles John Brown , Titular Archbishop of Aquileia and Apostolic Nuncio in Albania , and his predecessor Hil Kabashi , Titular Bishop of Turres in Byzacena .
