history
The military ordinariate in Canada provides pastoral care to members of the armed forces of the country of Catholic denomination. It was made by Pope Pius XII. Erected on February 17, 1951. By mutual decision between the Holy See and the Canadian Parliamentary Monarchy , the seat of the military ordinariate is in Ottawa .
